The Shops at Riviera Beach was former site of Royal Farms convenience store
Baltimore, MD (July 20, 2015) – The Mullan Contracting Company has won a contract to construct The Shops at Riviera Beach, a new 7,000 square foot neighborhood retail center located at 8482 Fort Smallwood Road, in the Pasadena section of Anne Arundel County. The site formerly housed a Royal Farms convenience store, which will be demolished to make way for the multi-tenanted shopping venue.
The brick and glass retail center, located near the intersection of Fort Smallwood Road and Riviera Road, is configured to support up to five different merchants. The project, which features a surface lot offering free parking for customers, is positioned across the street from Lauer’s Supermarket & Bakery. A new Royal Farms convenience store opened within immediate vicinity last summer.
“The Shops at Riviera Beach will create increased value to the Pasadena community, given its state-of-the-art and modernized design that will attract compelling new retailers to the area,” explained Joseph Rode, President of The Mullan Contracting Company. “Our company has tremendous experience in the construction of small, medium and large-scale shopping centers and we anticipate the timely delivery of this latest project.”
